I was keen to include a car from this popular BBC TV series written by James Herriot. After
receiving a top-off as to the wherabouts of the most famous vehicle in the series, a 1935
Morris 8 Tourer, I immediately set off to trace the owner and I purchased it in 1988.
In the series Siegfried Farnon (Robert Hardy) passes the car onto his new partner, James
Herriot when he buys a new Rover. James and the Morris have numerous memorable adventures
together.
