| The Avengers
In the TV series "The Avengers" the producers developed the idea of using the stars' transport
to reflect their own character traits. Steed, played by Patrick MacNee, predominantly drove
a Vintage Bentley, while Emma Peel (Diana Rigg) drove a sleek, sporty, elegant Lotus Elan,
that perfectly echoed her screen personality. The car on display is the actual car used
throughout the colour series. It is discovered the purchased by Cars of the Stars in the USA
where the series was big hit.
